True Parisian Macarons: Our Process
True Parisian Macarons are made with passion, the finest ingredients and tradition that dates back to the 18th century. This is the Essence Macaron process.
Our gourmet Macarons are handmade from scratch in our Phoenix, Arizona bakery by Chef Eugenia Theodosopoulos, who discovered her passion for French desserts, particularly the Parisian Macaron, at the prestigious Ecole Lenôtre in Paris, France.
We use only the finest ingredients when we create our gourmet Parisian Macarons. The traditional French pastries are made of fresh egg whites, finely ground almonds, powdered sugar and sugar. They are gluten free, and are not made with any flour or preservatives.
Essence Macaron’s true Parisian Macarons are perfect for any occasion – weddings, holidays, birthdays, special events, anniversaries, baby showers, Passover, corporate gifts and more. The round, meringue-like domes have a flat base, making them perfect for stacking and creating the most unique presentations.
All of our Macarons are shipped fresh. Our packages have been specially designed to separate each Macaron so that they are packed individually to minimize damage during transport. We protect them further by encasing them in a Styrofoam box with dry ice. All orders are shipped fresh and will arrive in perfect condition.
True Parisian Macarons should be refrigerated if they are to be consumed within two days. Otherwise, you can keep them in the freezer for up to two weeks. If they have been frozen, they should be allowed to sit at room temperature for a minimum of 45 minutes. If they have been stored in the refrigerator, they should be allowed to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
